Real Time Collaboration Within Records

Is laserfiche looking to allow for real-time collaboration within records?

If not, does it allow for two versions to be merged?

I know that Laserfiche allows for side-by-side version comparison, but can it do an overlay where one is compared on top of the other?

If you're talking about 2 people modifying the same document at the same time, it's something we've discussed but we don't currently have plans to support.  For version comparison, we rely on functionality of the native application (e.g. Word), so any changes in functionality or merging ability would come from there.
