One of our customers is looking for a way to create desktop shortcuts for the Laserfiche Client that, when clicked, will open the Client, switch to the Search Pane and immediately load one of their saved searches from the server (with blank values that they can then enter).
I tried the shortcut trick with -S"SavedSearch", but that seems to be for hard-coded searches, which are performed immediately when the Client launches. They won't work for this customer because the search terms always change, and furthermore their administrators control saved searches from the server centrally, via the Everyone group.
The ideal usage would be like this: the user has multiple LF Client shortcuts on the desktop, each named according to the name of the saved search. For example:
"Search for Case Documents" - Launches the client and loads the "Case Documents" saved search
"Seach for Coverage Maps" - Launches the client and loads the "Coverage Maps" saved search
...and so on.
