Difference between sql express and standard sql

asked on November 24, 2016

Good day - I have a client querying why there is a price difference in licensing using SQL express and a non express version.

The argument is that he must pay more to use Laserfiche on a full version of SQL with the only exception being the database size and the cpu/ram limitations which are SQL restricted and not Laserfiche restricted from a functionality point of view - His argument is that he must pay more for the same car to use use nitrogen instead of air in the tyres.

Is there any other benefit from a Laserfiche perspective that uses functionality not provided by express to justify this?

No difference from a functional perspective Neville. See related post on performance.
