Using Work Flow to create a .csv

Hello,

 

I have a user who is wondering if there is a way to use workflow to create a .csv file from Laserfiche metadata without using scripting?

Charles,

You can create a CSV out of the Laserfiche client by exporting a 'Download Report' but in order for you to accomplish this in workflow you must use a script.  I believe if you do a search on the Answers site for 'CSV Script' you should get several hits.

Note: You can update an _existing_ CSV using the existing workflow query tools and the appropriate ODBC driver but I do not believe you can create a new CSV with the ODBC driver...
