Cursor in Forms is automatically populating in the third field

Hello All,

 

I have a user who has a form that has been in use for the past 17 months. The form is using one table, performing data look ups and has read only fields. They noticed recently though that the cursor had moved to the third field as opposed to starting in the first field. This issue happens in multiple browsers. When they copied the form and deleted the table and fields and added them again. The same thing happened. Has anyone seen this before? My research points to this being a browser issue but I wanted to be sure.

I have provided a screen shot of the fields with the cursor. 

 

Additional Notes:

No other forms that we checked has cursors that appear in any fields when opening them. Also, if a brand new form is created, the cursor does not appear at all as well.

It should related to the third field is populated by lookup rule and is marked as required. So the validation will be performed when page load. This has been fixed with Forms 10.1 update 3(https://support.laserfiche.com/kb/1013806/list-of-changes-for-laserfiche-forms-10-1-update-3-), please apply this update.

I'm using 10.1 and having this issue as well in multiple browsers - any tricks that need to happen to resolve the issue?

My issue is very similar to this - but not in a table.  When the user starts the form, it automatically tries to look up the information in the fields and skips to the 4th field in the form.  How do you make it start at the top?  Also, those same fields are "shifty" until they are completely filled, causing the look of the form to be odd while the user is filling it out.

Does the issue persistent after you applied update 3(https://support.laserfiche.com/kb/1013806/list-of-changes-for-laserfiche-forms-10-1-update-3)?  Do you have lookup rule to fill those full name/email/department field? It seems you have some customize CSS to change the form layout, if the issue persist, please work with your VAR to open a support case by providing us your exported process so we can check what may be special for your form.

It stopped once I changed the fields from required to optional.  Now they are fine.  But if they are required it will go through all required before stopping.
