Every write field event has the complete set of entry information: the id, name and path. Those columns should be shown by default once you've selected one of the entry event types, but if you don't see them you can bring up the column selection dialog.
As for the out of memory exception, how many results does Audit Trail report that there are? It must be a lot, in which case it's probably more than you really want to download and open in Excel. Make sure you've trimmed the results down to just what you actually want. If you still have a huge number of rows, it might be better for you to query against the SQL database directly instead of downloading it.
