If you are talking about SSL certificates, none of the Laserfiche products get directly involved in handling them, it's all handled by the OS implementation.  In the case of web applications, they don't ever see the particulars of the SSL certificate that you've loaded into IIS.

If you are talking about digital signatures, then yes SHA256 is supported.
