I have a customer that is looking to have their volumes encrypted. They have experienced issues due to the volumes locking after the service is restarted or the server is rebooted. When the volume is encrypted it locks the volume after these procedures. Is there a way to have the volume remain unlocked and encrypted after the server or service is restarted. If not is there a way to unlock multiple volumes at one time. This poses an issue because the customer has to go through many volumes and unlock them one by one.

Unlocking multiple encrypted volumes at one time

LFS has no place to securely store the encryption keys in between reboots. This inconvenience is why we don't recommend using our encrypted volume feature for active volumes. It's meant for protecting volumes for transportation or when they are no longer active. For active volumes, we recommend disk-based encryption tools.
Do you have any recommendations for disk-based encryption tools that would not interfere with how the images are accessed through the Laserfiche client?
Client applications do not directly read images from volumes, all access is mediated through the Laserfiche server. So the only concern is whether the volume is readable by the Laserfiche server.
We don't have any recommendations, but perhaps others can chime in with solutions that they have found successful.
