Attached generic pdf to workflow email

We are trying to send an email through workflow with a Blank W-4 attached. I know how to send an email based on a starting entry, but can we attached a basic documnet to the email?

You could store it in Laserfiche, then use Find Entry and get it by path or by ID. That will expose it as a possible attachment for your Email activity.

OK that partially worked. However i think i may have a setting wrong. The w-4 came over as an xml file

You used Find Entry, not Find Entries, right?

I used the wrong one. it is working now

Cool. Find Entry returns a single doc, Find Entries returns a collection of documents for use with For Each Entry. The XML you got was the list of documents.
