merging forms instances

Hi!
we have 2 business processes that are the same (one restored from a backup of the other).
Unfortunately, users have filled out instances of both these processes.
Is there any way of merging the instances of one into the other?
Or perhaps a way view all instances from both in the one report?

Having to check 2 reports is increasingly painful for the end users.

It is quite difficult to merge the instances for two process as the data stored in multiple tables. You can check the instances for the two process from the instance monitoring page by search for a keyword contained in both processes. Better to hide one process to avoid user continually filling out instances for both process.
