Import Agent has issues with SECURED PDF's

Hello,

I have a group who uses Import Agent 10.0.0.219. They are experiencing an issue where they have SECURED PDF that won't Import Agent won't import into LF and moves into their IAError folder. The error they receive is below:

There was an error running the profile PROFILE NAME REDACTED while importing the file "FILE NAME REDACTED". (Can not decrypt pdf file. Unknown encryption filter used. when processing ELECTRONIC(REDACTED))

I have checked the PDF and it is being secured by Transcript Tracker.

Is there any way around this or would the user need to make sure that the PDF's they receive are not secured?

Is Import Agent configured to generate Laserfiche pages from PDFs or extract text from the PDF? Is there an issue if Import Agent is configured such that it won't try to open/read the PDF file and instead just imports it as is without doing anything else with the PDF?

The profile is set up to generate Laserfiche pages for the secured PDF.

Hi Alexander,

It looks to move into LF fine if it is not set to generate LF pages. I have advised the user to see if they can have the PDF's sent over as "not secured" by Transcript Tracker.
