Weblink and Multiple Repositories

asked on November 7, 2016

Can you license Weblink to multiple repositories?  For example can one Weblink license support each of the 15 Repositories allowed with RIO?

Yes, but you have to log in and access each repository individually.

Hi Jared,

If I understand correctly, Public Portal License is tied to the LF Server. So if we have a 25 user public portal license assigned to our LF Server and have multiple repositories on the same LF Server can we test concurrency across multiple repositories?

Can we split 25 concurrent license across multiple LF servers? For example, 15 on 1 server and 10 on another so that the first 15 can be used by the repositories under the first server?

You're right that this licensing limit is enforced by the Laserfiche server. There's no technical reason the 25 users couldn't be split between servers, but you would need to talk to your account manager about ordering licenses like that. And since it is encoded into the license file, there won't be a convenient way to change the allocation.
