Disable annotations for records not based on user permissions

We have official records within our repository for which the annotations features need to be disabled. However, the only way I can find to do this is through user permissions. We do not want to disable the annotations features for all users all the time, only with specific documents that need to remain unaltered. Is there a way to do this?

Hey Brittney,

If it's just for a couple documents you could change the access rights on the specific document and uncheck Inherit rights at the bottom. Then add users that need to see the document and check only the rights they should get.
