Offline forms upload after change made to form

What happens if an offline form is uploaded after the form or the business process change? 

Team member downloads inventory form to tablet for completion. On Monday to use during the week.  On Tuesday, the form is updated.  On Friday team member uploads the form.  What happens within LF Forms?  Does it check to see if the uploaded form is the new version?

Natalie, this was what I needed, thank you.  Is there any direction to the user when the upload fails to download the form again?  Once it fails, does the form remain viable in the offline mode.  Our forms will be used in a manufacturing environment where the capture of the information is specific to that 'moment in time' when they are taken.  To lose that captured information would be a detriment to operations and put us out of compliance with mandatory state/federal reporting.  Please advise.  Thanks.

Natalie,  I wanted to share with you that the documentation for the LF Mobile app and Forms are different. 

When I started looking into this, I started with the Forms information in the LF Admin Guide.  I found that the information is exactly the same except for that Note about the upload. Can you make sure that the Forms information for offline forms is updated to include the Note?  That way there isn't any confusion.  Thanks.

Will you provide the link to the Forms documentation you are referring to?

You wont lose those information you saved which later on fail to upload. The fail to upload offline submissions will remain in the offline form \ view submissions. We also update this in the help file, thanks!

Natalie,  Glad that the form content will not be lost if it fails to upload.
