conditional decision base on character number

I need to make a conditional decision on workflow base on number (integer characters) of caracter a metadata field has. is there a way to achive this?

Are you Working with Forms Workflow or Laserfiche Workflow?

The answer is Yes in both cases but use different methods to achieve this.

 

In LF Workflow you can use the Token Calculator to determine the StringLength of the Variable, which you would then use in your condition.

In Forms, You would have to create another field with the LEN(Variable) in it and then use that in the Forms OutFlow condition.

I am working with LF workflow.
