Question

Question

permission denied in database

asked on November 1, 2016

I am getting this error when trying to configure LF forms 10.1.

I went into MSSQL management studio and I gave the the user full rights to the database server in roles.

What could be causing this error?

For clarification, when specifying Windows Authentication to connect to the SQL Server from the FormsConfig page, it uses the account specified as the FormsAppPool application pool identity in IIS. Make sure that is configured to use the proper account with the necessary rights to the SQL Server.

Hi Casey,

You need to update the Forms routing service to run as the HAMMERSTEEL\Administrator account if you want to use windows authentication:-

The connection from Forms to the database is the Forms Routing Service's logon properties. Verify that account name.
