I'm looking for a solution to a scenario that one of my clients has. They want to restrict users from being able to delete documents to prevent mistakes. Pretty normal request. The issue is that they get documents that need to be merged between each other. When they try to move the pages to the other document, the empty document just stays in the folder since delete document is turned off. Does anyone have a good idea on how to approach this?
One solution I thought about was to have a delete folder that they move the empty document into and then WF deletes it at the end of the week. Then I could make sure it only deletes documents that don't have any pages. Any other ideas would be great. Thanks.
