In Import Agent 9 is there an order in which the profiles are run?  I mean which profile runs first.

If so, can this order be changed?

Message Queue service handles it, not sure if there is a way to tell an order to go in.

I don't believe there is an order in which profiles are run. Once a document hits a monitored folder, it triggers an event for Import Agent to pick up the document. What is goin on that you ned these run in a certain order?

I have a server with about 300-400 profiles and is taking more or less an hour for a document to be imported into laserfiche since it gets created in the monitored folder.

Maybe this is handled by the Queue Service?
