Lf connector 10.0.0.337 & lf 9.2.1.635 - aptify/ rdp

asked on October 31, 2016 Show version history

Good Morning,  sorry but it has been a while for me and LF , so please forgive me.

LF connector 10.0.0.337 /LF  9.2.1.635 and  Aptify  via RDP - Is this a valid configuration? LF 10 guide says aptify 5.5.3.1 is supported with lf connector. I also read that LF connector is not supported with remote terminal services. I am not sure if RDP would be considered to be the same as Terminal Services.

Thanks.

"Remote terminal clients" as mentioned in the help files is just a generic term for a machine you are remoting into, not a specific brand or type of remote access.

See the responses to a similar question:

[...] if Connector is running on your local machine, it couldn't read data from inside a remote session. Connector can be used within a remote session just fine, it just can't cross through.

The idea here is that Connector must be installed on the same machine that the application you are using it with is installed.

So you can use Connector if it is installed on the same machine where you are running Aptify. I'm not familiar with Aptify, but it looks like they have a web client, so that may be an option for you.
