Document's Reprocessed in Photo Docs do not retain change in Laserfiche Client

asked on October 24, 2016 Show version history

Hello All,

I have a user who ran into an issue when scanning documents into Laserfiche Client 9.2.1.562. One of the pages scans in as landscape when it should be portrait. Due to this incident, the document ends up looking "stretched out" when viewing it in the client. The user can then Reprocess the document using Photo Docs and this will show the document's thumbnail in PhotoDocs (Reprocessing Mode) as looking correct. If the user clicks on the document though, it reverts back to looking stretched. The same happens when viewing in the client as well. I have provided a screen shot of the comparison.

Thanks!

In photodocs ,in the thumbnail it looks correct. After reprocessing, are you storing back to laserfiche using store all?

Is this a mixed DPI image? (A mixed DPI image is one that has different horizontal and vertical resolution, measured in dots per inch.) To find out, right click on the file from Windows Explorer (i.e. before importing into Laserfiche) and check the Horizontal and Vertical resolutions under the Details tab.

Hi Ryan,

I don't believe they will be able to check to see if the documents are mixed DPI since these documents are already in Laserfiche. The documents themselves have been in LF for about a year. Is there any other way to check?

Thanks!
