Is there any report/program that allows me to perform a "repository integrity test"?

Our prior system allowed me to run a job that would perform two checks:

Are there records in the database that do not have corresponding files in the repository folders?
Are the files in the repository folders that do not have corresponding records in the database?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Have you checked out the Volume Consistency checker?

This looks to be exactly what I'm looking for.

I did have to run the application in Compatibility Mode of Windows 7 on my 2012 R2 server, but it's working now.
