Our client is using LF 10.1 with Forms. When a Form is submitted, the first steps is saving it into a LF repository folder as a PDF file.

By default, these files are not OCRed. I can write a workflow to perform this part but for PDFs which already exists in this folder without any text, I would like to use the Generate Text button to generate searchable text.

In a separate process where a form is saved as ITFF, the texts are being generated using the generate searchable text option but with less than desired accuracy.

Unfortunately the PDF files are not generating searchable text at all. I have updated the production system to generate TIFFs instead of PDF but we still need PDFs to be searchable. Please can you provide some assistance in generating text for existing PDFs and about how to generate accurate text automatically.
