repository issue while login

Hi we have a existing repository created on our server (server A ) with name UAT and now we have taken the back up of same database against which the UAT repository is created and tried to create a second repository as UAT2 . After the back up was restored on same database with db name as UAT2 we ran the UUID udpate which is successful and then we created the second repository.

Now i am able to login to UAT repository with windows authentication but when i try to login into UAT2 repository is says "The maximum number of sessions has been reached (9030)". Further to this another team m ember is able to login into UAT2 repository with windows authentication as well as to UAT repository.

then we tried to add\ remove users with his login but cannot see any option as Add users after right clicking the users tab. See attached file. Also the user who has been able to login into repository do not have any domain account against his name, see attached file (LoginuserIssue).

Also I can see my name in the users list but cannot see any domain account related to this name.

we have total 100 licences allocated to this server and currently only 49 are used.

Are the users from UAT2 registered in the "Laserfiche Named Users" node?

Hi we have restored UAT2 from UAT. UAT is completely functional. so users are present in named user .

The users in UAT2 are separate accounts from those in UAT, so you need to re-register the UAT2 accounts in the Laserfiche Named Users node.

Okay . Now we have a situation where user name = Sanjay C who is able to login into both UAT and UAT2 repositories is not part of named user neither me.

Still i have given a try to add myself into names users list and this is what i got as attached.(To see if i can add myself in UAT2) . In screenshot UAT2= Repository2016.

To see if i can add myself in UAT(In screenshot UAT=Repository ) , i followed the same steps and i have been added successfully but against UAT and not UAT2.

The UUID of the repository in the registry (HKLM\Laserfiche\Engine\8.0\Repositories\UAT2\UUID) does not match the UUID for the users in the repository, meaning the repository wasn't restored from backup correctly. I think this is now something that should be handled in a support case.

Hi Today we restored the UAT2 database from another testing repository database which is completely functional and working properly. The issue remains the same . see the exact previous answer. No change in behavior at all. only Sanjay C is able to login and cannot add users , do not have any account associated with him , and so on.

The adding user scenario also remains the same.

now if we go with your theory where we say "The UUID of the repository in the registry (HKLM\Laserfiche\Engine\8.0\Repositories\UAT2\UUID) does not match the UUID for the users in the repository, meaning the repository wasn't restored from backup correctly" how can Sanjay C is able to login ? why he do not have an domain account associated with him ?

Pls let us know what can be done in this situation as we have almost tried all permutations \ combinations from LF Support sides already.
