Do I need to run the KB1012313 when converting from SQL express 2008 to Full SQL 2012 on version 9.2?

I am currently planning to migrate a customer on version 9.2 from SQL express to Full SQL.  Do I need to run this SQL query from the provided KB? or is this only for version 7?  Thanks.

No Need as you are moving from SQL Express not from MSDE. you just need to detach your database and attach it to MSSQL
