Set moderator by group.

I've not found anything to allow a user to be elevated as a moderator for a particular group as opposed to the entire site. Does anyone know if this is possible? If not, perhaps I'll submit it as a feature request.

Currently you can have a user be a group admin if they need to edit posts in the group. That is changed from the group's Members tab and does not give them site-wide powers.

Group moderators (with powers to edit posts in the group, but not change its membership) will be available in version 11 later this year.

Thank you Miruna. I'd noticed the Promote function within the group, but wasn't sure it was limited to just that group. 

 

I look forward to the version 11 update.
