I have a field called account number.  It is used in two different templates that have different requirements.  One template uses the account number with simply 2-4 digits (1234), while the other template has 6 digits, a decimal point and two more digits (123456.78).  Is there any way to edit the field (or template) to show this field differently for each template? Or, would I need to make a separate field for each in order to get the desired view? 

When I formatted the field to reflect the larger account number, it also changes the smaller numbers. 

123456.89 will show as the larger account number

001234.00 will show for the account that are only 4 digits.

Basically, I'm asking if there is a way to customize a field in each template.
