A Issue from re-activating master Activation key (Rio Product)

asked on October 10, 2016

Hi there,

Our Rio product 10.1 version has just expired and this affected the session of admin user in the LF admin console turned out to be retrieval-session

After that I had re-activating Rio product with the new approved activation key and the process of re-activating on LFDS was successfully done without any error message but the session of admin user still be retrieval-session.

which is the best way to awake all LF product when we get the new license on LFDS?

Did you generate a new license from LFDS and replaced it in the server's install directory before restarting it?

Did you check the event log on the Laserfiche Server for any errors?

Have you tried restarting the services for the registered applications?

Hi Miruna,

After I did follow your suggestion and restarted the LF service then the LF Admin Console can works properly.

But I saw some applications such as LF Forms's still getting error message about the expired license.

I need your advice.

What is the basically procedure that we have to do with the LF Rio products after we had re-activated the activation key?

I would like to make sure that every single LF applications work properly after this and I don't want to miss anything.

Thank you very much for your suggestion.

Forms has a separate license. If that's expired as well, that has to be relicensed as well. The same would apply to the rest of the Laserfiche products that require licensing.
