New template fields not showing up in workflow designer

I added several new fields to an existing template in the Metadata Management section of Administration Console. I went to pull them up to set the values and the newly added fields are not in my list of fields in Workflow Designer.

Do I need to refresh something somewhere?

You want to make sure the user specified in the connection profile for the workflow you're editing has rights to see these new fields.

Go to your retrieve field values action in workflow and open up the box, this should refresh to where you will now see them and be able to select the fields. Then in the assign field values action you should see them.
