Linking Social BPM (Discussions) to a Laserfiche Folder

asked on September 22, 2016 Show version history

I've installed Social BPM for our VAR kit.  In testing, I see how I can link a discussion to a document in Laserfiche.  How can I link to a Folder?  If I try, I get an error when I open the link from the Social BPM main page that says "The specified entry was not a document."

Thanks,

Jen

There was a similar bug fixed in 10.1 for Web Access for a record series folder.  It is very likely that the fix will also fix your problem.  Are you able to upgrade to 10.1 Web Access and 10.1 Discussions?

Could someone from Laserfiche comment on this?  I have a customer that would like to start using this instead of purchasing a different software.  However, they need the ability to link a discussion on the folder level.

Thanks,

Is your folder a record series folder?  Also which versions of Web Access and Discussions do you have?

The folder is not a Records series Folder.

Web Access - 10.0.5.236

Laserfiche Social BPM Version 10.0.0.171

Thank you, Winfong!

I updated to Web Access 10.1 and 10.1 Discussions this has fixed the issue for any new posts involving folders.  The old ones that I created using Social BPM still do not work.  But that's okay since this is just a test system.  Thanks for your help.
