Business Process Library Error

Hi,

I downloaded the "Faculty & Staff Position Requisition" BPL with Briefcase. But when i try to validate i get an error

The conditional expression for the sequence flow "" does not take any effect because it is the only outflow following "exclusive gateway" (ID: 164) in the "Main Process" process.

Could anyone please confirm this as well.

Hi Junaid,

This is something that you should be able to ignore. The reason why that message comes up is because in the merging exclusive gateway, the outflow has a path condition despite being marked as the default outflow path.

If you uncheck the "this is the default outflow path" option, clear out the path condition, and then re-check the "this is the default outflow path" option, then the business process should validate without any errors.
