Changing the listening port for SQL in LFDS and other products

A customer is wishing to change their default SQL port. I've read this change is easily done for LFS using the normal format for SQL connections of 'servername/instance, port' when changing the DBMS connection.

Does the process documented above also apply for Workflow, Forms, Audit Trail in a similar way? Edit their SQL server configs with the appropriate port?

Also, how is this accomplished in Directory Server? I've 'heard' that this cannot be done without a new DB. I cannot find any documentation other than the link above for LFS.

It would be the same for all applications. For LFDS, you would need to detach the licensing site and re-attach it with the new SQL Server info.
