Multiple instances of WFAGENT

One of our client was encountering issues  with the Laserfiche SQL connection. During the period of this, in their Laserfiche Admin console, they saw about 40-50 session with the name WFAgent.

 

Currently (no more SQL issues) there is only two. Is this normal. Does this mean 50 workflow sessions were running during that period?

Assuming WFAgent is the user your Workflow connection profiles are using, and depending on the server's hardware specs, yes, it would be possible to have that many instances running at the same time. It's not necessarily an indication of something wrong in the Workflow server or with the rules.
