Hi Everyone,

Can you please let me know if we can scan documents OCR so that the documents being scanned are searchable? And how to perform same?

Hi Ketsia,

 

If you scan using an MFP then the documents will need to pass through Import Agent in order to get into the Laserfiche system, this can be set to OCR documents on import.

 

If you are scanning using a USB scanner then you can add the OCR process to the scanning by configuring it within the Laserfiche Scanning as shown here

The Laserfiche client help file also has instructions on how to do it:

You can OCR in Basic scanning or in Standard Scanning.
