Cannot OCR colour TIF files generated by Forms

Hi All,

Doing some testing internally, I've noticed that when you generate colour TIF files from forms, Laserfiche seems to be unable to OCR this. The OCR engine runs but no text is generated. Is this something anyone else is seeing?

I tried when the tiff is colour. Please open a support case with the process that can reproduce this issue for further trouble shooting

Did you run Generate Searchable Text manually after tiff document is saved to repository? For document saved to repository from Forms, it won't be automatically OCRed. There is no problem to generate the text if I ran generate searchable text manually.

Hi Xiuhong,

Even if I run the OCR manually it still doesn't generate text for colour TIF images. B+W are fine.

I see in your example you are using a B+W image.

Actually I've just tested this on some other workstations and it seems it was isolated to mine. Scratch this post.
