Question

Auto-login using integrated windows authentication doesn't work

asked on August 31, 2016

Hi,

Our client is using LF 10.1. We have not had auto login related issues for Forms but when we enabled Web access for repositories, we selected auto login and it doesn't work. If users enter their UserName and Password, it works fine.

I have tried to use fully qualified server name, added LFDS in safe sites nothing works. Attached pic has the error.

Please can you recommend what can be done to allow users to login automatically.

Hi Adarsh,

That looks like the regular Web Access login page, not the Single Single On login page that uses Directory Server. The checkbox you have checked there is not related at all to the autologin feature you're using in Forms and requires Kerberos configuration.

Before you can use the Single Sign On in Web Access, you need to configure it like you did for Forms. You can find the documentation by looking for Directory Server under the help files for Web Access Configuration

Hi Brianna,

Thanks for your answer. You are right when I updated Services, SSO started working.

I have an issue though.

LFDS is installed on server A.

LF Web access is installed on Server B for production and Server C for development.

On Server C (DEV) when I configure as you have suggested, it works without any issues. I can configure web access for production and dev repositories.

But on Server B (PRD), the web interface gets frozen when I add DS details and push the save button. Both web access and web access configuration sites stop working. I have to reinstall web access.

If you have encountered similar issue and know how to fix, please let me know.

Thanks,

Adarsh
