Synchronizing files – folders

Hi:  Is it possible to work off line and sync files – folders afterwards?  If we download a folder´s content (word, excel documents), can we work with them off line and sync them with our LF server next morning?  This is intended for users that do not have access to the internet and need to work on RFPs, filling out word and excel documents.

If you're using Microsoft Office with the Laserfiche Office Add-On, you can use the "Check Out" in the ribbon bar to check out documents. The user would save a copy to their hard drive, and the copy of the document in the repository would be locked until they connected to Laserfiche and checked it back in.

Can you do a "Check Out" on a folder?  There are different folders that have various documents, we might have one or up to ten or fifteen, so it would be a lot easier if we can do a check out on a folder, instead of using it on each file.

It only works for individual files. I'm not aware if there's some additional add on or feature that would let you do this for entire folders.
