Question

The Laserfiche Server was unable to log an audit event because it exceeded the maximum record size allowed

asked on August 30, 2016

Guys,

I get this message in Application Event Logs when I try to give a Group Access to the Top Level of the repository.

That's the error I get when adding access for group:

         GetOptionString ([HiddenDialogs]EveryoneHasBrowse)

Any suggestion to fix this? Or otherwise I will raise it with support.

Thanks in advance.

Raymond,

So I have tested again and here are the results:

- LF Server version: 9.2.1.562

- When I use LF Client 8.3.1.663, I get this error

- When I use LF Client 9.2.1.562, I can successfully add the Group without any error.

I think I wouldn't need to raise a ticket. Or please let me know if you think otherwise.

What version of LFS.exe are you using with the 8.3.1 client?

You should upgrade the client to match the server then.

I had old version installed one of the machine, and at the machine I was getting this error. I will get this machine upgraded as well to match the LF server.

Thanks for your help.
