Office Web Apps

Is it okay to install the Office Web Apps on the same server as my Laserfiche and Office Programs? We are trying to enable the option to view documents within Web Access.

Hi Chynna, 

 

Office Web Apps isn't supported for installation on machines with other server applications (such as SharePoint, Laserfiche Server, Web Access, or SQL Server). It also doesn't allow installation over other Office products. I

 

It's worth pointing out that these restrictions are all on Microsoft's side. See here for more details.

Thanks, our VAR wasn't sure and we are trying to figure out what to do to get this to work.
