Documents are getting left side of page cut off

Hello,

I have a user who is scanning in documents and noticed that for some time, quite a few documents are getting parts of the pages cut off. Essentially, they will have some pages that have the text centered correctly and show all of the page with no issue. Then later in the document, the text shifts to the left and words on the left side are cut off. They will then delete the document, re-scan the pages and they willl all show up centered without issue. Has any one seen this before? I have provided a screen shot of one page that is centered (the top page) and the bottom page that is pushed to the left and cut off. Is this a bug in LF Client 9.0?

Update: The pages that show as a normal size are 2560x3300

The pages that are getting cut off are showing as different sizes: 2301x3330, 2271x3300, 2172x3300

Was there any suggestions from Laserfiche on this issue?

There isn't enough information to troubleshoot. It could be that the scanner has options turned on for border removal or something along those lines. Please open a support case and indicate the version and scan engine used as well as any processes used in LF Scanning or the scanner properties.

Hi Miruna,

Are you referring to the version of LF? Also, when you say scan engine, is that referring to the type/model of the scanner, or something else?

The scan engine would be ScanConnect, TWAIN, Kofax, WIA. The scanner model might be useful too but knowing which driver and whether the LF interface or the scanner's native interface (for TWAIN/WIA/Kofax) is used makes a difference for troubleshooting.

Hello,

This is starting to happen to me as well when scanning. I will scan a stack of papers and some come out centered and others will be cutoff on the left side. I have tried choosing different paper sizes and nothing seems to do the trick. I have also tried checking the settings with my scanner. I am on 10.3.1 version of LF and using a Canon ImageFORMULA DR-G1100 with using the scan source Twain. Any help is appreciated.
