Hello All,

I want form 'initiated date' instance which will be used to create a folder inside client when a form is submitted.

I tried using the initiated date instance from the options available, but it gives time value also, so it doesn't serve the real purpose as it creates different folders when forms are uploaded at different time.

Please advice on this issue.

work around you can create one date field and use field rules to hide the field and use the field value to create a folder.

Thank you Mr Mazahir ,

I kept this as an alternate option to use . Had to make sure if there are instances which is available within forms which i could use.

The start date variable does contain time portion by default, you can use alternate option, we will consider adding variable only contains date portion.

Hi Akhil,

You are able to manipulate the Date and Time stamp using regular expressions within the workflow to save the file for you with the same date value each time.

Hi Mr Gert,

Much appreciated with your response. This could be implemented on the higher stage as presently I was checking for the inbuilt instances that could be used within forms.

Forms 10.2 now support following 2 variables:

Instance Start Date: only has date part

Instance Start Time: both date and time
