We have a workflow that makes a copy of a master PDF fillable form and routes those copies to various users to complete/approve in Adobe Reader. Two of our users that receive copies are unable to overwrite the existing document--- they get an import prompt window and are only able to save the modified PDF as a new document VS what they should be able to do (and what others are able to do) which is to overwrite the superseded document in Laserfiche.
Has anyone else experienced something similar or know what is causing this? We're stumped.
This is what we want:
This is what we thought may have been causing the issue and tested but to no avail:
Version Control? NO - we checked to see if version control was turned on on both the document in question as well as the folders housing the document.
User Permissions? NO - we checked the groups that the users were a part of and other users in those same permission group that had the same permissions were not affected.
Options Issue? New Documents > Name Conflicts, maybe the Options were such that documents of the same name could not be written over? NO
Options Issue? New Documents > Settings, maybe there was something under the "When importing PDFs" section? NO
Folder Permissions? NO
Windows Temp Folder Path? NO
Workflow Issue? NO
Thanks in advance!!!
