Custom Search Settings

WebLink Search and Retrieval

My client was curious if there is a way to set search setting defaults in weblink. They would like anyone who uses weblink to use a fuzzy search of 15% and also show the advanced search area first instead of needing to click on it. Is there a setting or attribute that can accomplish this? They are on version 9.0.2 of weblink.

Hi Ricardo,

With respect to the Fuzzy Search setting, this can be set in the WebLink Designer, under the "Search Options" tab; you can configure fuzzy search by percentage or by number of letters. Here you can also configure the Quick Search options.

I don't believe you can configure to show the Advanced Search field by default; depending on their use of the advanced search field they may want to consider a custom search form.
