Quick Fields - Zone OCR - White space causes ocr engine to give up on current line of text

No matter how wide the zone is, if there is a large quantity of white space, such as 10-15 spaces, then the OCR engine prematurely moves to the next line and never continues to search for more text on the current line.

Is there an option to change this feature? I would like to OCR all the text within the defined zone.

Hi Chad,

It gets the whole line of text when I try it. Can you show us an example of what you're seeing?

Actually it wasn't the white space causing it. I was trying to capture a screen shot for you can moved some zones out of the way to make it clearer and the data came over. It turns out when a zone overlaps then the overlapping area is not included as part of the OCR area.

So new question. How do I turn this off? So that the Zone OCR areas can overlap but still OCR the defined zone within the page?

Unfortunately there are some known issues with overlapping OCR Zones. Does it work if you use two separate Zone OCR processes (rather than multiple zones within the same Zone OCR process)?
