Audit Trail doesn't support filtering by groups for two reasons.  First is that it's designed to be able to run in "stand-alone" mode, where it doesn't have access to the source Laserfiche server or its domain.  The second is that there is no record of historic group membership, so any queries involving groups would be run against its current membership list, which could be very confusing if you are looking at data in the past.
