can Rio 8.2 LM generate licenses for version 9

If a customer has Rio License Manager 8.2- is it possible to generate lf server license 9.2 or it is  mandatory to upgrade the license manager?

Yes, it can. The version of products that can be licensed is controlled by the version of the master license, not the version of the License Manager.

o in this case we need have to change the master lic. before generate server lic  9.2

u just need to update the master license. it needs two clicks if your master license is generated  before 9.2 release.
