By far the most accurate way to capture MICR characters is to use specialized hardware for that purpose. The second-best way would be to use a specialized OCR engine for this purpose. Unfortunately Quick Fields does not come with either of these.

Quick Fields can OCR these characters as it would any other but since its OCR engine is not specialized for this purpose, it may not be able to obtain as high accuracy as you might want.

Of course if you don't need perfect accuracy it might be just fine - it actually worked ok on some sample documents I tried but your customer's documents might be much different. The best way to know for sure would be to try it out on some real sample documents.
