Delete access based on template

Is there a way to set template security so documents with a certain template cannot be deleted regardless the folder they are on?

Hi Gian,

Not quite what you are asking but you could create a workflow which is configured to fire when a user deletes a document assigned to that template. It could restore it back to the original location and/or send a notification.

Hi Nigel,

Are workaround is a workflow that assigns rights to the particular document so it cannot be deleted. But that has some impact in performance.

Our situation is that we have a compliance template and compliance documents go to a certain folder, users are not allow to delete those documents, but if a user moves the document to another folder, then they can delete it.
