how to save a Form and import in other server

Is it posible to save a form designed in my VAR kit and then use in my customer repository?

Yes you can download the business process, then import it into your customer's form's account.

Everything Forms needs is contained in the Forms Database. Just keep a good set of backups of the Forms DB. If you need to restore, just install Forms again, restore your DB backup, and point the Forms config to your existing database.

Hi Guillermo,

 

Like Xavier mentioned above, you can download a business process in an XML format and import it into different Forms servers. Keep in mind that if you have teams participating in your business process, you'd also need to import those teams if they don't already exist.

Also, note that if your form uses any Lookup Rules, the data source name, database name, and user connection information must match exactly between the two Forms servers, otherwise all of your Lookup Rules will be deleted upon import. If you need to change this information, you can actually edit the XML file before you upload it into the new system.
