Question

Laserfiche Server Helper Process

asked on August 4, 2016

Hi everyone,

How are you all doing?

So I am having a problem, a process called "Laserfiche Server Helper" is taking a lot of memory and processor. What is this service? Why could he be going so high using those resources?

If any of you give me any clue, I will be glad.

Thanks for the help.

Att,

Vitor

This process handles image thumbnail generation.  You might have a document with an image that is larger than the helper can handle. Please open a support case with a dump generated from the process. To generate the dump, right click on the process in Task Manager, choose "Create Dump". After generating the dump, terminate the helper process. It will restart automatically and there is a chance this will resolve the issue.

Hi Robert,

Thank you so much for the info on that. Early when I saw it , I did restart the server and when I went to do the dump, I did but it seems that everything is ok right now, the Process is behaving as expected. So if this process happen again I will open a support case.

Thanks a lot.

Have a good day.

Regards,

Vitor
