9061 folder not empty

asked on August 1, 2016

I am getting a 9061  folder not empty  when trying to create a repository on my laptop. See screenshots below...

I renamed the "Search" directory to "Search_old" without success. How can I resolve this issue?

I also see that my LaserficheRepository DB is set to "Read Only". Is this an issue?

It looks like you're trying to create a new repository in the "LaserRepository" folder which already contains one and using a database that already exists on your server. Point to an empty folder instead or attach the existing repository instead.

Another issue is that your repository path and your initial volume path (for DEFAULT) are the same and that will result in the error you're seeing as well. When creating a repository, you can leave the initial volume location setting to be "under the Laserfiche files directory" or if you do specify your own path, make sure it's not the same path as the repository.

I tried "under the Laserfiche files directory" and got the same error. I then tried a new directory C:\Repositories\Laser_Repository and now get the following error.

Could the 9025 error be due to only having "Read Only" access  to the DB? I am unsure how this could be as I installed SQL with my login. How do I change my permissions to the SQL DB?

Yes, it can cause that error. If you are creating a new repository, please use an empty database.

As far as making the database read-write, see this thread for some possible solutions.
